Updates to ACAHM Comprehensive Standards and Criteria, Glossary, Mission, Vision, and Values [5 November 2021]

The Commission has published several updates, as part of the process of changing its name to the Accreditation Commission for Acupuncture and Herbal Medicine.

Changes to the Comprehensive Standards and Criteria are described in its Revision History document. The Reference Copy of the Comprehensive Standards and Criteria has been updated.

Please note that the updates to the Comprehensive Standards and Criteria do not incorporate the proposed revisions to Criterion 5.02, regarding demonstration of English language competency. These proposed revisions are currently the subject of a Call for Public Comment, and the Commission has not taken action upon them.

Changes to the Glossary are summarized in the Revision History table at the end of the document. Commission staff recommends that stakeholders review changes to the Glossary, as several terminology updates reflect 1 July 2021 changes in distance education guidance from the US Department of Education.

Changes to the Mission, Values and Vision are described in the Revision History table at the end of each document.
