    ACAOM is pleased to announce that John M. Cooper, EdD has been selected as our new Associate Director.  Dr Cooper earned his Ed.D. In 1995 from Harvard University and has a Master of Public Administration from the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill, and his MA/BA from Wake Forest University.

    On June 8, 2011, Mark S.   • USDE Approves ACAOM's Expansion of Scope to Include DAOM

    As of July 8, 2011, the U.S. Department of Education reconnizes ACAOM for an expansion of scope to include Doctorate of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (DAOM) programs.  Schools with ACAOM institutional Candidacy (with some limitations) or accreditation, and with Candidate or accredited DAOM programs may now use ACAOM's accreditation to request eligibility for Federal financial aid.
